Honest and professional! After receiving quotes from another HVAC company to either repair ($6500+) or replace ($14,500+) our complete system, we contacted Air Doctor. Their Service Manager, Gatlin, met with us, listened to our recent history with the other company and arranged for a full inspection of our system. Bottom line, our system is now back up and running after the technician fixed a wire that was not connected. Their inspection showed the expected condition of a nine year old system, but not some of the major issues reported by the other company. Gatlin knew we were prepared to replace our entire system, but as an honest representative of Air Doctor, he said it wasn't needed at this time. We had guests staying at our rental beach home. We received a call at about 9pm from them saying that the AC was on but the air hadn’t cooled. They said it wasn’t an emergency, but wanted to let us know to schedule a future visit. I called and left a msg and within MINUTES received a call saying we were the 3rd stop. I let our guests know and they said to let them know that the next day service would be fine .. Again, I left another msg at Air Doc and again, I received a prompt call back saying they were already on their way. Andrew Rayburn, the technician, quickly found the issue ( system was displaying a lockout code) , reset, and the AC started right up! He explained to our guests the possibilities of why that could have happened, and then called me to explain. He also checked the system over to make sure iit was in top running order for the upcoming season. Our AirDoc contract is worth every penny and AirDoc is very fortunate to have such a conscientious, polite, knowledgeable employee in Andrew Rayburn. Read Less

Additional information since this last post 3 months ago. I moved forward today with the purchase of a new system through Airs Doctor Services in Murrells Inlet. I am truly amazed at this company. The amount of detail and review they do to make sure I had the perfect unit and fit for my house was amazing. Anthony came over from Air Doctor and went into my attic crawling through the ceiling checking and sizing for new installation. He worked magic with the numbers, and I had to move forward with the purchase. The reasons why I decided to go through Air Doctor starts with the service they have provided me with the last several months, the detail they went through to get the right equipment and the amazing price for the TRANE system I purchased. Seriously around every corner is a company selling and servicing Heat Pumps. Don't get overwhelmed or pushed by sales techniques. Air doctor is not a corporate company its family owned In Murrells Inlet. No I don't work for them I am a customer and wrote this without prodding. I moved to the Murrells Inlet area 5 years ago and was using a HVAC / Heat Pump company the previous homeowner suggested. In the first 4 years with a relatively new system (2 yrs old when I purchased the house) installed by the previous owner I had multiple issues. It seems like they kept coming back over and over for the same problems. I contacted Trane Corporation, and they sent out Air Doctor (local TRANE Dealer) to look at my system. It seems that the contractor that originally installed this system did not do a good job. Air Doctor came in and lifted the inside unit placed a level pan under it and leveled the unit in the ceiling. It seems the previous installed placed the pan on a tilt with the float shutoff on the high end of the pan causing it overflow and ruin my ceiling. Air Doctor - Absolutely a 5***** star company. I am very impressed by their technicians, customer service and their inhouse employees. In the past year their follow up, customer service contact and their very knowledgeable employees impressed me way beyond my expectations. I will be replacing my unit in the next several months and have decided Air Doctor will be the company I plan on using. Robert Axelrod Read Less

This is my first time using Air Doctor Services, Inc. and I am now their customer. They are responsive, courteous, on time and professional. I am now using them for another project and for my annual checkups! I couldn't be happier with the staff!
